Description: Today business environments have many priorities that compete for an organizationís limited resources. Managers must justify the benefits of investments in safety and health equipment, technology, staffing and programs in terms that offer value to their organizations. Ultimately, safety professionals must identify and justify initiatives that will result in the greatest degree of risk reduction given a fixed amount of financial resource. This seminar will examine the process of making sound business decisions that result in budgets sufficient to mitigate safety and health risks. Included will be a review of current models available to analyze the value of safety and health investments.
