Speaker Video Intro

We invite you to submit a short, 20-30 second video introduction to your session for use when we promote the conference. This can be done using your own webcam or digital camera. ASSE may post videos on the Safety 2013 website at various times. We will post as many of the videos as possible. Along with your video, you must submit a signed Permission to Rebroadcast Release Form and return it to Bonnie Lipinski at blipinski@asse.org or speaker fax 224.725.2871.
Guidelines for the video:
Record a brief welcome message and short introduction or overview of your session. In 30 seconds or less, you should cover the following. Acceptable formats include: AVI, WMV, MP4, MOV, MPG.
- Who you are (“Hi, I’m Jane Doe, Director of Safety at…”)
- Your session name and number (“I’ll be delivering Session 501, How to…”)
- Focus on the key deliverables for the attendees
- Wrap up with a Safety 2013 tagline (For example; “Thanks for listening and I’m looking forward to seeing you June 24-27 at Safety 2013 in Las Vegas…”)
Options for submitting your video:
- YouTube: If you already have a YouTube account, you may upload your video to YouTube yourself.
Please be sure to include the following formatting in your title and description.
- The video title should be formatted as: Safety 2013 - Session Title/Number – Speaker Name
- In the description of your video, please include: View the entire program at: http://www.safety2013.org
Once uploaded, email the link to blipinski@asse.org.
- Email your video to blipinski@asse.org. (Note: Depending on factors such as size of file, email provider, settings, etc., the file may not come through. If ASSE receives your video, we will confirm receipt by return email.)
- Upload to ASSE using our materials upload site
Permission to Rebroadcast Release Form (required):
Along with your video, you must make sure to also sign the Safety 2013 Permission to Rebroadcast Release Form and return it to Bonnie Lipinski at blipinski@asse.org or speaker fax 224.725.2871.
