This course is specifically designed for those preparing for certification examination (ASP, CSP, OHST, who need a hands-on review of the following essential skill areas: conversions, dimensional analysis, number manipulation, shapes and formulae, graphing, algebra and trigonometry). This three-day review course is designed for those preparing for the Board of Certified Safety Professional (BCSP) Safety Fundamentals Examination, which leads to the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation.
By popular demand, this workshop was created to help you prepare for the ASP Safety Fundamentals Examination through identification of your strengths and weaknesses for continued study. Participants will review more than 450 problems addressing all six sections covered by the exam. The cumulative passing rate for those who have taken the test after the workshop is nearly 90 percent.

This three-day course is designed to prepare individuals for BCSP's comprehensive practice examination. The primary distinction among the examination options is the four exam areas that are covered: engineering, management, applied sciences, and legal/regulatory and professional conduct/professional affairs. The course consists of lectures, sample problems, and discussions on various subjects to prepare the student for the exam. Pertinent reference materials are discussed to help students focus their studies in specific areas before sitting for the exam.

Note: Students are asked to bring a scientific calculator to class, such as a TI-35X, TI-60X, TI-68, or equivalent. Scientific keys/functions include: standard deviation, permutations and combinations, factorial, log, correlation coefficient, and trigonometry.

This is a review and preparation course for personnel preparing to take Board of Certified Safety Professionals Construction Health and Safety Technician examination. In three days participants will review CHST education and experience requirements and over two hundred questions addressing the nine areas to be covered by the exam. They will also learn how to use OSHA General Industry and Construction Standards and become familiar with resources available to prepare for the exam. Upon completion of the workshop, participants should be able to identify their strengths as well as areas where further study may be required.

This is a review course for those preparing for the Occupational Health and Safety Technologist Examination leading to the designation of Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST). This is a joint certification of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) and the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). The exam is designed to recognize the expanding role of technologists in support of occupational health and safety.
How You Will Benefit: The workshop will help identify potential problem areas, recommend resources available to prepare for the exam, explain certification requirements and scoring procedures, review content material utilizing a "testing" format, and minimize "test shock" for those who have not taken a standardized examination for an extended period of time.
