ASSE is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). ASSE complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard, which is recognized internationally as a standard of excellence in instructional practices. As a result of this accreditation, ASSE is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.
Upon completing all the requirements for a learning activity, the learner can access the application for the certificate program. (If IACET CEUs are being awarded for the event, then the CEU transcript and certificate will include the IACET "Approved Provider" logo.) ASSE retains continuing education records for a period of 7 years after the learning activity completion date.
To protect learners' privacy, ASSE does not share information with third parties about learners' continuing education activities other than to confirm the information that appears on the CEU transcript. It is the learner's responsibility to provide a copy of his or her CEU transcript to third parties who request documentation of completion of ASSE continuing education activities. Learner records, including transcripts and records of attendance at events, will only be released to the learner via a direct written request from the learner.
